Pork chop meal ideas

My husband loves to grill out! Sundays are usually the day that he will choose to grill. With the weather being nice, it was the perfect day to get the grill up and going. He will start by adding a marinade to the pork chops with Worcestershire Sauce. And then a little salt and pepper. Make sure the pork chops are cooked well-done. Follow the recommended instructions for cooking the pork chops. Worcestershire Sauce is good for a lot of recipes, and we use it a lot around here!

Remember to cook the pork chops well-done according to the recommended cooking instructions.

Side Dish - Real mashed potatoes

While he is grilling, I am getting the side dishes ready. I started with the potatoes. I chose to make real potatoes using golden potatoes. Of course, I started by boiling the potatoes in the water. Once they are soft enough, I drain the water. I then mashed the potatoes and added milk and butter until they were the creamy consistency I wanted them to be. Once I got them just right, I added some salt and pepper too. They turned out perfect. You could even make a side of gravy for your potatoes if you wanted to.

I also made a side dish of black-eyed peas. We get them already made and seasoned from our local grocery store. These make a simple and easy side dish since all I have to do is cook them on the stovetop. They have a nice flavor, too.

Then, by this time, my husband is getting ready to pull the pork chops off the grill. They looked so good and turned out perfect! And, of course, adding our sides of mashed potatoes and black-eyed peas completed our Sunday Dinner Idea for our family.

Now, you could add a few more items too. Rolls and a dessert could be added. And of course, your favorite gravy for mashed potatoes, too. But we chose to keep it simple. And it was delicious!
