When decorating our homes for the Winter Season, you are probably thinking of a warm, cozy, and inviting space. Bringing in a Cozy Winter Christmas Village is one way to add charm, warmth, and a welcoming ambiance, too. Today, I will be sharing our Winter Christmas Village with you.
Let’s Start With The Main Setting
When I was young, I loved helping my mom set up our Christmas village each winter holiday season. I also wanted to bring a Christmas village into our home while keeping it simple. Our village was started by adding a warm wooden church and a few wooden houses. The wooden houses have a whitewashed look, which also gives the appearance of coziness, warmth, and snow. The houses also light up, giving our winter village a warm and glowing ambiance. Each piece has beautiful snow-covered roofs, giving this village a charming winter wonderland look. The architecture of each of these village pieces is intricate and beautiful, too. While these village pieces are simple, they provide a beautiful winter wonderland that I love to enjoy during the holiday season.
Adding The Details With Warm And Neutral Trees
Of course, I couldn’t stop here. I also added some warm and neutral green trees, too. Tall bottle brush trees, which have a beautiful glistening look to them, were added between the village pieces. I also recently added the two trees on the ends, which have snowy-tipped branches, too. I love the natural and realistic look of these trees. Of course, you could always add more trees. However, I chose to keep it simple with the few trees seen here. However, I can always add more over the years. That’s what makes winter Christmas villages unique and charming in their own way.
Final Home Christmas Village Thoughts
Christmas villages can come in various designs. You can choose to keep them simple or add as much as many village pieces as you want. This is where you get to be creative within your own home. I love the warmth and charm of our village while still keeping it simple, too.
